Thank you for respecting our policies at Pride Beauty Lounge!

By booking an appointment and visiting our space, you consent to the following policies:

Nail Glitters

Appointment and Cancellation Policy:

  • Appointments may be made via online booking (Fresha), by calling us directly at 902 222 9428, or by contacting the salon via email tori@pridebeautylounge.com or Instagram messaging. 

  • We strongly encourage our customers to contact the salon directly to book appointments as we do not encourage our staff to work outside of their paid working hours and therefore they may not be able to help you book, reschedule, modify, or cancel your appointments. For respect to our team’s personal time, please contact the salon directly.  

  • We require 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If something comes up and you can not make your appointment either by no-showing, or cancelling your appointment, we reserve the right to bill you up to 50% of your service cost. 

  • If this occurs, you will be blocked for booking until the fee is paid either by Square Invoice for credit cards, or e-transfer. After your fee is paid, you will be unblocked for booking and resume your services as normal.

Pricing and Payment Policy:

  • Our pricing structure is based on industry standards, business and wage costs. We offer monthly promotions, text, social media, email promotions and discounts. 

  • Discount codes that are sent via text message must be redeemed through the booking link that was texted alongside it and unable to be redeemed at the time of checkout. 

  • We accept all major credit cards and debit cards, cash, and e-transfers. 

  • We accept all Pride Beauty Lounge gift certificates.

  • We do not have additional service charges or hidden fees. We charge for your service, any add ons that were agreed and consented upon, Nova Scotia tax and gratuities are optional and selected by you.

  • Gratuities are encouraged, but not mandatory. 100% of the gratuities goes towards your service provider. If you had multiple service providers, your gratuity will be split between the service providers unless otherwise stated. 

 

Service Guarantee/Refund Policy:

  • Our services are guaranteed for the first 7 days. If you have an issue with your service, we will fix the service for you, free of charge. After 7 days, there will be a fix-charge.

  • If you were unhappy with your service provider, or the overall experience, we may compensate you with a gift card to use on a different service, or a re-do of the service you have had but with another service provider.

  • We do not offer refunds on services due to the nature of our services and business. 

  • We offer full refunds on any retail item purchased if not opened or used within the first 30 days.

  • We offer full refunds on Moroccan Oil products within the first 30 days, despite being used or opened. 

No-Show and Late Arrival Policy:

  • For those running over 10 minutes late, you will be marked a no-show and we reserve the right to bill you up to 50% of your service cost. 

  • If this occurs, you will be blocked for booking until the fee is paid either by Square Invoice for credit cards, or e-transfer. After your fee is paid, you will be unblocked for booking and resume your services as normal.

If you are going to be late, please call the salon directly at 222 9428 to let us know you will be late. Accommodating late arrivals is subject based on our schedule and availability; it could be subject to marking as a no-show. 

Children Policy:

Supervision: Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising their children at all times. Please ensure your children do not disrupt the overall salon environment.

  • Disturbance Consideration: We strive to maintain a relaxing atmosphere for all our clients. We understand children and babies may become disruptive, we kindly request that the guardian address the situation promptly to maintain a relaxing environment for everybody.  

  • Safety Measures: For safety reasons, children and babies must remain away from salon equipment and workstations to prevent accidents.Parents should be mindful of salon products and equipment that may pose a risk to children. We ask that children do not handle or play with salon tools, products, or equipment.

  • Other Clients' Comfort: We must all work together to ensure we respect the space for all clients and staff at Pride Beauty Lounge and to be mindful of noise levels.

Social Media and Photography Policy:

  • If a staff member asks to take a photo of you, this photo may be edited and used on our social media or website for promotional purposes. At any time you do not want your photo taken, you may tell them. You may also request to see the photos before posting, or if you do not like the photo after we post it, you can request we delete it. 

Privacy Policy

 

Pride Beauty Lounge collects information, including but not limited to names, contact details, and preferences, solely for the purpose of providing personalized salon services. We ensure the confidentiality and security of this data, and it will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent. We promise to respect your personal information and only collect data that is needed to service you better.

How Do We Use Personal Information?

  • Create and adjust your appointments and bookings.

  • To ensure services and products do not conflict with any medical conditions.

  • To follow up to ensure you are satisfied with your purchases.

  • To provide promotional material such as texts and emails for marketing purposes.

Who Has Access To This Information?

  • Your associate has access to your consultation form, but does not have access to your personal information such as email or phone number.

  • The salon supervisor and owner has access to your consultation form, alongside your contact information. 

  • Purchase history may be used by our associate to better provide relevant promotions to you.

  • Government or regulatory authorities in case of an emergency when required by law.

Consent 

Your consent is important to us. You have the right to decide which information you wish to give us and what you would like done with it. To choose to purchase one of our products or services, your consent will be assumed. By using our salon services, you agree to the terms outlined in this privacy policy. Any changes to this policy will be communicated through our official channels. If you have concerns or requests regarding your personal information, please contact us directly.
